We're a Malicious Site? I don't think so!

It seems that Google has taken upon itself to classify Britmodeller as a malicious website.  This is NOT the case - we have no connection with any websites that do so, and we are not compromised or dishing out Malware.  Malwarebytes has given any of the pages flagged by Google a clean bill of health, and their "warning" messages are vague and don't give any real information.  They tell me they can't isolate any malicious code, which is correct, because there ISN'T ANY!

To get around it, either create an exception in your Malware software (some are fed info by Google), or visit Britmodeller using this link to bypass Google's stupid messages.

I've submitted a request for review to get this sorted out, but in the meantime Google seem determined to undermine the good reputation of Britmodeller and damage our member's experience and the flow of new members that might be frightened off by these spurious messages.

If you've got the time or inclination, please feel free to email Google to complain about this unecessary inconvenience and tell 'em to get it sorted ASAP.

Thanks for your patience - keep on modelling

  1. I used your workaround link and Google has it blocked with that warning. I am using Firefox.

  2. Your best bet is to shift over to Internet Exploder for Britmodeller at the moment, as they don't use Google's dodgy data :)
